The Maine "XOXO" Tour @ HOB San Diego

HOB San Diego was buzzing as John, Kennedy, Jared, Garrett, and Pat otherwise known to the masses as The Maine hit the stage for the "XOXO" tour Thursday night promoting their album of the same name XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time which dropped in July of 2021. The crowd immediately went nuts as the lights dimmed and the familiar sound of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" came blasting through the speakers. As the first of the evening's many sing-a-longs occurred, you could see many of the more hard-core Maine fans sporting wicker cowboy hats with neon lit brims and when they were asked about them all that was said was "It's a MAINE thing!".

Their first song of the night was "Sticky" from the new album and it got the crowd going absolutely wild. Set to a brightly neon lit stage the 5 piece brought the crowd to new heights. Their energy on stage is what most bands of their genre should aspire to. Not a dull moment as hit after hit brought everyone together. Their duet of Love You A Little with Charlotte Sands, who was one of the nights openers, was most definitely huge crowd pleaser to say the least, and their 19 song set had a little something for everyone in attendance.

With shows in Seattle, Salt Lake, Prescott, Arlington, and two nights in Vegas to wrap it up, I would highly recommend grabbing yourself and some friends a few tickets if you want to have some fun! You won't want to miss it!!
